ITALIAN FEAST:
We are having a fabulous Italian Feast. You DO NOT WANT TO MISS THIS: The details are as follows:
WHEN: September 13, Saturday, 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
COST: Only $10.00 per person WOW!!!!
WHERE: Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #21, 66 Victoria Street, Annapolis, NS
WHY: To help H.A.R.T. with their vet bill so that we can continue with the enormous amount of rescuing that we do, it is endless.
MEAL: Your choice of entree, caesar salad, garlic bread, your choice of desert from the desert table and Italian coffee. Mmmmmm. All of this will be accomapnied by Italian music, candlelight and your own waitress, so come on out, dress up (or not), sit back, relax and enjoy a wonderful authentic Italian meal.
We will also be having a 50/50 draw, and will be selling tickets on a really nice picnic basket complete with wine and wine glasses!
We have been working extra hard lately with some serious rescues we have taken in and had all fixed up by Dr. Rice . Please look at "Geronimo's" pictures on the first page. We can't continue all this work without your support. We will NEVER turn down an injured animal or an orphaned baby. Please help us by attending this fantastic event!
FLEA MARKETS:
We often have yard sales at our house in Aylesford, 1147 New Road. We accept Canadian Tire money as regular cash, so if you don't have much cash but you have Canadian Tire money why not use that! These events are extremely important to us and we need to make as much money as possible to enable our rescue work to continue. We are looking forward to seeing lots of you there. ATTENTION: CRAFTS PEOPLE!!!!!
We are looking for people who can make crafts for us of ANY TYPE. We would like to have a craft show soon and anything that you could make and donate to us would be greatly appreciated. Some suggestions are:
Doggie jackets, pet pillows, pet beds, scratching posts/condos, cat nip mice, and any other types of crafts you can think of, they don't have to be pet-related!
CHILDREN CAN HELP!
Children love to be a part of a cause. It makes them feel important and gives them a sense of accomplishment. And let's face it, most children love animals, it's only natural. Your children can fundraise on our behalf. There are many things they can do such as a bottle drive, money donations in money boxes/cans outside of various businesses, bake sales, competitions (i.e., spelling bees, video games, etc.), car washes, and so on. Perhaps your child could fundraise with his or her class at school. The ideas are endless.
