DONATIONS

We are in dire need of donations, not just monetary.  Here is a list of some of the things we desperately need:

Items above marked with an * are needed so badly.  You cannot imagine how much of these things we go through, costs us a small fortune.  Even if you dropped by with a package of paper towel we would be so grateful, a bottle of bleach, a container of Lysol or Chlorox Wipes!

If you would like to help us with any of the above listed donations please call or send an email to:  valleyhart@hotmail.com

Laurie Wheeler:  341-HART

Also, if you have donations and are unable to get them to us, please give us a call or email, and we would be more than happy to pick them up from you.

We can't stress enough how badly we need donations, for without them we are so limited as to what we can do.  Fundraising helps, but it's not enough.  Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for anything you can do for the animals.

We need monetary donations very badly.  If you would like to donate to us you can send us a cheque or money order made payable to "H.A.R.T." to:  1147 New Road, Aylesford, NS B0P 1C0.  Alternatively you can make a donation to our account at the Port Royal Animal Hospital, P.O. Box 302, Annapolis Royal NS B0X 1A0 (please make note to them that it is for "H.A.R.T.'s"  account.

Dr. Jody Rice:  Thanks goes to Dr. Rice for her wonderful services and her special care she provides to H.A.R.T.'s kitties.  Dr. Rice really has set an amazing example of just what professionals can do when they truly care.  We could not do any of this without Dr. Rice and we could never ever thank her enough in a million years.  We love you Dr. Rice, and we speak strongly for the kitties.

Port Royal Animal Hospital Staff:  The staff at Port Royal Animal Hospital are the greatest people on earth.   They go above and beyond their job descriptions.  You won't find a kinder group of women anywhere.  How can we ever thank you?  If you drop in there, make sure you say hello to Lynn, did you know she is H.A.R.T.'s angel?

Team TNR:  Team TNR (based out of Annapolis County) provides us with traps for live trapping feral/stray cats.  These traps are not cheap and H.A.R.T. does not OWN ANY!  So a HUGE thank you goes out to Team TNR (Jill Brideau and Steve Lewis).  Without Team TNR we could not do any TNR's at all.  We in turn will do whatever we can to assist Team TNR in their efforts to try and control the population of cats.  Hip Hip Hooray to Team TNR!

To ALL of you that donate to H.A.R.T. we are forever grateful to you.  This is what keeps H.A.R.T. alive and is how we can continue with our efforts in saving lives and placing them in good homes.  These animals did not ask to be thrown out there and neglected, we wish we could get to all of them, but we just cannot and it breaks our hearts.  The more donations we receive the more lives we can save.  Please come to our fundraisers, they are so important to us.  Bless you all.

A very, very, personal, special thank you goes out to one of my dearest friends in the world, Inge Sadler, of Pick Of The Litter Society, Bedford.  There is no way in this world I could have ever managed with the orphaned kittens without her never ending, kind, loving, patient, endless advice.  The amount of work and care that goes into rescuing orphaned kittens is probably the most difficult and demanding thing I have ever done in my life.  They are almost guaranteed to be or get ill.  It's so hard for them to manage without their mothers.  It's unbelievable the complications you run into with them.  Inge has guided me through everything.  No matter what time of day or night it is, she is ALWAYS there.  I could write a book with the information Inge has given me.  She has rescued so many orphaned kittens it is nothing short of astonishing.  Thank you Inge, you will always be in my "hart".   One day I will repay you for all of your love and kindness.

THANK YOU!!!!!!
